Justin MakinCo-founder / President |
Justin is the founder of Alpine Treatment Services. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Technology Management from Utah Valley University, and has worked within the field of addiction recovery for over ten years. Justin’s tireless leadership and vision have pioneered how addiction recovery is treated. Justin saw a need for a more effective approach to drug and alcohol rehabilitation with a spiritual influence at the core of the Program; thus Alpine Treatment Services was born.
“I believe that all people have divine worth. A recognition of this worth can be the single most powerful influence for healing and full recovery.
When this program was developed, the belief that if you loved and accepted people true change would occur was at the core. With individuals who choose to come to Alpine Treatment Services, my philosophy is that we must create a space and comforting environment for healing, learning and growth. I understand the commitment that it takes to continue on the path of full recovery. We have a team of loving, caring and dedicated professionals that will support and assist you through your journey every step of the way.”

Marc TurnerVice President of Programming Operations |
Marc Turner was born and raised in Orem, Utah and he has lived in Utah County most of his life. He attended Orem High School and played baseball for the Tigers. Marc spent ten years of his life working as an operations manager and outside sales rep for a wholesale contractor supply company.
Something unique about Marc is that he has successfully graduated from the Program of The Steele House. After four years of addictive abuse, Marc found Alpine Treatment and checked himself in. He was tired of trying to live a life that was completely unmanageable and destructive to him and his family and friends. After three months of residential care and three months of sober tracking, he was able to learn the tools of living and loving life again.
Marc had been sober since the day he checked in and can now truly enjoy the ability to contribute to his family and friends in a positive way again.
“Through my hard work and dedication to living a clean life, I have been given the opportunity to work for the same company that gave me my life back and the opportunity to give some of my experience, strength and hope to the clients I work with everyday. I know as an addict where the client has been, is and can be one day.”
