Our Goal The goal of The Joshua House is to allow individuals the space and opportunity to receive the tools and skills necessary to get and stay sober, long term. Individuals gain the necessary educational skills, tools, and confidence to live a life of sobriety. It is our hope that individuals will reflect on their stay at The Joshua House and find peace in knowing that they are prepared fully for all that lies ahead. Our Mission Our mission is simple. The Joshua House is a testing ground for individuals to learn and practice the skills and tools they are attaining, while residing in a real life setting. Through supervised living and continuing education we equip individuals with skills to carry into their lives outside the Joshua House. As individuals demonstrate to themselves and to their loved ones that they are committed to their sobriety, a new confidence begins to grow. We are committed to working with each individual enabling them to define who they are. The Joshua House is a transitional care center for women. Every person that walks through the door of The Joshua House will be entering a facility that takes recovery and sobriety seriously. |
