HOW
WE WORK
WITH ALPINE TREATMENT SERVICES YOU HAVE OPTIONS
The three phases of Alpine Treatment Services
are explained below:
Individuals who need a more intensive program
are able to receive treatment from our Stillwater Treatment Center.
Stillwater Treatment Center is an inpatient facility where individuals
live full time at the facility and receive 24 hour supervision
while undergoing a rigorous therapeutic program where they begin
the process of healing. Individual therapy, groups, mentoring,
and education classes are provided.
Upon transitioning out of Stillwater, our treatment
team will determine and recommend what level of care would be most
appropriate for the individual’s next phase.
The
Joshua House / The Steele House
This phase is where individuals live at our home-like facility
and are able to work outside of the home, attend meetings and spend
time with family and friends. Transition to The Joshua House (for
women) or The Steele House (for men) provides a similar rigorous
program of therapy for each individual together with the freedom
to gain employment, spend time independently and practice the skills
they learned while at Stillwater.
During our Sober Tracking phase, individuals live independently
and return to our center for drug and alcohol screening, weekly
group sessions and individual therapy
Whether in-state or out of state, individuals may discharge completely
and follow up with our Sober Tracking services, whether on-line
or via conference call as an option.
Affording individuals options
can make the difference when convincing someone that they need
treatment.
“There were certain things
that were really important to me like family visiting, being
able to get a job, being able to have the freedom to still do
the things that I enjoyed. Just coming into the program, it was
important that you were going to be able to work with me on that
and it was a big part of me even being willing and ready to get
the help that I needed.” –Wes, Steele
House alumni
Individuals seeking treatment options have often times expressed
concerns about having to leave their employment, families, and
daily life. For some individuals, being completely away from family
members could be more detrimental to sobriety than healthy.
“As a mother, having the
option of seeing my children on a weekly basis was the main reason
that I was even willing to receive the help I needed. The Joshua
House worked with me and my family’s rigorous schedule; for that,
I will ever be grateful.”

alumni The Joshua House
For others, their stories are different. There
are those who have been in and out in and out of treatment for
years and do not have the desire to start over. Sober tracking
for them presented itself as an excellent option. Individuals are
to attend individual therapy, weekly groups and receive drug and
alcohol screening. ALPINE TREATMENT SERVICES is able to customize
such a program to fit individual needs.
“I had been ‘therapized’
for years, and I wanted something new. Sober tracking was just
what I was looking for because they really worked around my schedule.
It offered all the qualities of a rigorous program, including
groups and one-on-one attention. Many times just attending a
12-step meeting with the group meant all the difference for me.
Feeling alone was always my biggest downfall; with sober tracking,
I never felt alone. I loved feeling part of a community yet having
the luxury of sleeping in my own bed.” – Anonymous,
alumni The Steele House
ALPINE TREATMENT SERVICES’ researched-based model successfully
deals with each individual’s challenges. If you are unsure of what
level of care you or a loved one may need, please don’t hesitate
to call or email to schedule a free assessment.
ALPINE TREATMENT SERVICES has the ability to meet the specific
needs of individuals, and where they are in life as well as in
their recovery.
With ALPINE TREATMENT
SERVICES, individuals have the opportunity to be exposed to real
life situations while staying sober.
For example:
- establishing employment / school / vocational
pursuits
- living in an enviornment with others
- learning
to get along with others
Individuals are given the proper
services and appropriate amount of support during each phase.
Ideally, we recommend that individuals seeking treatment for
the first time participate in all three phases, beginning with
Stillwater. This process of phasing down, attending Phase 1,
Phase 2, and Phase 3, ensures that the much needed tools and
skills of recovery are truly being grasped. Having the opporutnity
to gain and practice new skills while continuing the treatment
process is vital. Our three phase program offers just that.
It is our goal to set up individuals to graduate from our program
and to be prepared to live a healthy, self-sustaining, independent
and productive life.
